Typology of cities (D2.2)

City profiles will reveal the specific opportunities and threats that will confront cities on their innovation journey towards an energy-efficient development. Deliverable 2.2 analyses city performance on certain key aspects in a European perspective and in comparison. This typology allows for benchmarking and an easy identification of comparable cities in order to look for best practices and to gain some input for WP3-5 of the PLEEC project.

Energy Smart City Profiles of Partner Cities (D2.3)

This report depicts the results of the survey among stakeholders in PLEEC cities. The importance of the various energy efficiency domains as well as potentials expressing challenges and restrictions for further improvement of energy efficiency are discussed. Based on a survey, this report gives a first but not representative overview about the perceptions and assessment of a small group of stakeholders.

Methodology for monitoring (D2.4)

This report provides a set of indicators which should describe energy efficient urban development in a quantitative way based on the definition of key fields and respective domains for energy efficient development (energy smart city profiles). This definition of indicators and their empirical elaboration is result of two surveys with city stakeholders and several workshop discussions with partners in the PLEEC-project. Correspondingly, this report provides an overview about the definition of indicators and some general observations/conclusions regarding the elaboration of a list of indicators as base for a future monitoring.
