Report release: Behaviour driven efficiency potential - Economic evaluation of selected Best Available Practices - Planning for energy efficient cities (PLEEC)

Report release: Behaviour driven efficiency potential - Economic evaluation of selected Best Available Practices

The aim of PLEEC project´s Work Package 5 ("behaviour driven energy efficiency") is to identify the potential of energy reduction from a behaviour driven perspective.
In continuation of the preceding report ("Case study reports on Energy efficiency and Behaviour" (D5.1)) which introduced examples of behavioural interventions to promote energy efficiency in cities, this report identifies Best Available Practices for the economic evaluation of these behaviour-driven energy efficiency interventions.

The report provides technical guidance on how to conduct an economic evaluation of behaviour-driven energy efficiency interventions. It is also intended as a guide to those planning these interventions to plan ahead for quantitative evaluation and comparison of results.

D5.2 Behaviour driven efficiency potential - Economic evaluation of selected Best Available Practices Version:Final

The purpose of Work Package 5 Deliverable 5.2., “Economic impacts and eco-efficiency potential of selected Best Available Practices" is to provide technical guidance on how to conduct an economic evaluation of behaviour-driven energy efficiency interventions. The report is also intended as a guide to those planning these interventions to think about and collect relevant economic data when formulating different policy actions in order to allow for quantitative evaluation and comparison of results.
