As the PLEEC project is stepping into its final phase all cities are working intensively on the drafts of their Energy Efficiency Action Plans. In order to ensure the integration of the outputs of WP 3 - 5 (technological, structural and behavioral energy efficiency) the internal project meeting from 22 - 23 September served for in-depth discussions between the PLEEC cities and the university experts on how to optimize their Action Plans.
PLEEC represented at Danish Town Planner meeting
- Published on Thursday, 01 October 2015 09:19
On 1 October 2015 the annual meeting of Danish Town Planners (www.byplanlab.dk) took place in the city of Vordingborg. Part of the conference was an exhibition space. At the stand of the Centre for Strategic Urban Research (part of University of Copenhagen, (www.byforskning.dk), Christian Fertner talked with interested participants on PLEEC results and conclusions, primarily based on WP4 work related to spatial planning measures and the context and scope of Energy Efficiency Action Plans.
The participants could also get an ‘Energy-Smart City-DK profile’ of their municipality printed. The profile is based on the PLEEC indicator framework developed in WP2. University of Copenhagen adapted the framework and collected data for all 98 Danish municipalities during a PLEEC spin-off project in 2014. The profile is a benchmark of the energy performance of Danish municipalities in 40 different indicators.
